How implementation is approached

01Establish the minimum working path. Start with one known workload and one approved model destination so connectivity, authentication, logging, error handling and operational ownership can be validated early.
02Add policy incrementally. Introduce workload classification, sensitive-data controls, routing logic, exceptions and approval patterns in small, testable steps.
03Integrate the systems that matter. Connect the gateway to existing identity, data security, observability and operational systems rather than treating it as an isolated appliance.
04Validate normal and failure paths. Test expected traffic, denied requests, provider failures, timeout behavior, sensitive-data cases, logging, and recovery procedures.
05Hand off an operable system. Deliver configuration documentation, decision records, testing evidence, runbooks, ownership and recommendations for the next iteration.
